Add Filters to FaceTime Call
Users can add filters to the FaceTime video call. The in-house developers added filters to the application. You can access them and add them to the video call. Dial a friend on the VoIP service, and add the filters when connecting to the recipient.
- Open the application.
- Dial the number or Apple ID.
- Tap the star icon at the bottom left corner.
- Tap the filters icon from the bottom menu.
- Swipe left and right to view the collection.
- Tap the filter to add them to the video call.
The connected recipients call to see what you are doing in the background. The filter changes in the video call in real-time.
Add Memoji to FaceTime Video Call
Apple has a unique AI feature called emoji. You can add the emoji to the FaceTime call. You can stand out from the crowd by adding an animal face over yours. I have tested the moving emoji feature on the iPhone and viewed the image on an Android device. I have shown the results at the end.
- Start the FaceTime call. You can add the moving emoji before you join the call.
- Tap the star icon in your video call section. The star button is at the bottom left corner.
- Tap the first icon appearing at the bottom.
- Swipe left to explore a moving emoji.
- Tap on the animated avatar.
- You can show the group what an animated emoji looks like.
You can explore the library and try other avatars before joining the call. The animated emoji disappears when your face is not in the frame. Try to remain on the screen and do not make rapid movements.
Add Stickers to FaceTime Calls
iOS 17 has stickers built-in on the keyboard. You can access the collection in a VoIP call. You can place the sticker on any part of the screen. You can show your classmates or friends your favorite stickers. Let me show you how to access the sticker collection and add them to FaceTime.
- Open the application.
- Dial the number or Apple ID.
- Tap the star icon at the bottom left corner.
- Tap the stickers icon from the bottom menu.
- Swipe up to view them all.
- Select the right one by swiping down or choosing a different sticker from the menu.
- Tap the sticker to add them.
- You can add multiple elements to the screen.
- Adjust the image on the screen.
Apple didn’t know what you could do on the FaceTime screen. Viewers can see every sticker added to the display.
Add Stickers to FaceTime Call
Apple used advanced technology to design text features for iOS devices. You can add text that moves along with the subject. The text moves along with the head. You can stand out from the crowd with the text feature.
- Open the application.
- Dial the number or Apple ID.
- Tap the star icon at the bottom left corner.
- Tap the text (Aa) icon from the bottom menu.
- Swipe left to view more fonts.
- Tap on the font, and the editor appears on the screen.
- Type your name or whatever you want.
- Move the text anywhere on the screen.
- Close the library.
I didn’t do the FaceTime video call for demonstration purposes. The text moves when you move your head.
Add Emoji Stickers to FaceTime Call
The library has extra emojis. However, you can’t visit the libraries I have shown you until now. Let me walk you through the process.
- Open the application.
- Dial the number or Apple ID.
- Tap the star icon at the bottom left corner.
- Tap the emoji stickers icon from the bottom menu.
- Swipe up from the bottom to view all stickers.
- Tap one from the library.
- Add the sticker to the FaceTime video call.
Tap and hold to move the image across the screen.
